27 Lukenya Academy Students Travel to South Africa for Africa Debate Championship

Twenty-seven students from Lukenya Academy (British Curriculum) have travelled to Johannesburg, South Africa, for the Africa Debate Championship. Their qualification follows an excellent performance during the national selection rounds held at Strathmore University, where they emerged among the top teams in the country.

This continental competition provides our students with a platform to showcase their critical thinking, eloquence, and teamwork among Africa’s best young debaters.

We extend our best wishes to the entire team as they take on this prestigious challenge. We are confident that they will excel, bring home medals, and secure their place at the International Championship scheduled to be held at Harvard University, USA, in 2026.
