Lukenya British Curriculum September Admissions

LUKENYA’S BRITISH CURRICULUM (IGCSE) SCHOOL does NOT intend to make any child ‘repeat’. Instead, as we enter the next academic year, ALL pupils will progress as usual. This is because we have continuing e-learning (daily video lessons AND full lesson ‘drops’ at Google Classroom), and have done since the COVID-Closure began.

To any prospective parents and pupils, we think you’ll love Lukenya, and you’re very welcome to join us, as a number of pupils successfully already have during this time of
E-Learning. We have vacancies in Years 7, 8 and 9 from September 2020, and look forward to your call. Transferring from the 8-4-4 system is also simple: a St 7 pupil would enter our Year 7; a St 8, our Year 8; and a Form 1 would enter our Year 9.

We look forward to supporting pupils and parents as closure continues, and to ensuring a smooth and SAFE return to school once we reopen.

We are grateful to all our parents and admiring of all those pupils who have reliably attended e-lessons at this trying time, and who have kept the vibrant life of the school
going through video assemblies and interactive clubs and societies. WELL DONE – we are proud of what you have all achieved!

Virtual Learning

Pupils, parents and staff have adapted, worked hard and been creative and resilient as we continue to offer the best education that conditions allow. We are all missing the routines, interactions and opportunities that each normal school day brings, but we are all still united by our common ethos, values and aspirations. As well as academic education, we continue to offer pastoral care and lots of ideas for recreation and fun to keep everyone happy and healthy.
